25th Annual Butternut Creek Festival - Blairsville, Georgia - July 2024
The Butternut Creek Festival is one of the finest juried arts and crafts shows in the southeast. The two-day festival showcases the work of artists and craftsman in categories from basketry, candles & soap, fine art, fabric art, and decorative painting, to glass, jewelry, metal working, photography, pottery, scrimshaw, and woodturning. Held annually at Meeks Park in Blairsville, Georgia, Saturday 10AM to 5PM & Sunday 10AM to 4PM. Free admission and free parking with shuttle service from the parking lots to the show site.
2024 Makers Collective Exhibit - Blue Ridge, Georgia - January and February 2024
Inside the Richard Low Evans Gallery in the Blue Mountains Arts Association and Art Center, the Makers Collective showcases over 400 handcrafted works by regional artists and makers. Discovered Treasure, Shining Through and Charleston Window Box III were juried into the 2018 SAAG National Juried Show. 2017 SAAG National Juried Show - October 2017

The Southern Appalachian Artist Guild's 2017 National Juried Show is currently on display at the Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association and Art Center in Blue Ridge, Georgia. Out of 195 entries submitted from artists in nine states, a panel of jurors selected 135 pieces for this exhibit. It is an honor to have Spring Celebration I selected as one of those pieces.

28th International Exhibition on Animals in Art - March 2016
In a New Light is currently on display at the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine Library. Two hundred and two artists from 38 states, Israel and Canada submitted 381 entries for the show. Of those entries, 74 were selected by juror Jonathon Mayers for the exhibition. The show runs March 19-April 18 during regular library hours. I now offer colored pencil classes by appointment at Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association and Art Center in Blue Ridge, Georgia! The 3-hour introductory session will focus on the different brands and types of pencils, materials, tools, and techniques used to create dramatic drawings that could easily be mistaken for paintings. Learn many secrets to success with this unique medium, such as layering and blending using colorless blenders, solvents or heat.

I am extremely honored to receive the Wayne King Memorial Award for Life Goes On at the opening reception of the Artist Guild of Northwest Georgia’s Seventh Annual Fine Art Competition.
